Laws of Life Essay Contest

For the first time in the thirty-one year history of the Rotary Club of East Cobb, the Laws of Life Essay Contest has been implemented. A club member reached out to Lassiter High School, explained this Rotary-sponsored statewide writing and character education program for high school students, and Dr. Anne Blanchard agreed to become coordinator for the program. Three club members volunteered to serve as judges, and current plans are for the winners to read their essays at the club meeting on April 13th. Of course, the students' parents and Dr. Blanchard will be included. We look forward to hearing what maxim or "Law of Life" the students chose for their writing and how it applies to their lives.
