A Good friend of PP Dr. Upendra Bhatt donated $42.5K to provide laser based eye surgery unit and equipment. RCEDH paid $7.5K to perform 500+ eye surgeries at no cost to the patient. Rajkot midtown club will administer the project locally.

FODAC Equipment Drive (Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 8:30 am until
approximately 2:00 pm)
The RC of North Atlanta is once again organizing a service project is to
collect donated home medical equipment and/or supplies for the Friends of
Disabled Adults and Children (FODAC) a 501c3 organization located in Stone
Mountain, Georgia. FOCAC targets items that are in high demand from their
clients, adult and pediatric. FODAC refurbishes all equipment and then
donates it with little or no cost to prequalified clients. These items that
we collect include: medical supplies, bathroom equipment, grab bars,
children's adaptive equipment, and other assistive technology. FODAC accept
gently used manual and electric wheelchairs (including footrests), scooters,
standers, strollers, corner chairs, gait trainers, shower supports, toilet
supports, therapy aides, specialized mattresses (no regular mattresses),
canes, crutches, rollators, bathing aids, braces, air casts walkers, hoyer
lifts, hospital beds and many other items.
All the members of Rotary Club of Emory Druid Hills, Dist 6900 pledged their financial support and became the first in the district to be a [Polio Plus Society 100% Club]
Club President 2021-22 Pravin Kakadiya took initiative in leading the efforts to achieve the title [POLIO PLUS 100% CLUB] and he believes that today, Rotary and its partners have reduced the incidence of polio by 99.9 percent. FODAC gives adults and children with disabilities in need of the home medical equipment (HME) necessary for an
enhanced quality of life.
