Polio Club Society 100% Club

All the members of Rotary Club of Emory Druid Hills, Dist 6900 pledged their financial support and became the first in the district to be a [Polio Plus Society 100% Club]

Club President 2021-22 Pravin Kakadiya took initiative in leading the efforts to achieve the title [POLIO PLUS 100% CLUB] and he believes that today, Rotary and its partners have reduced the incidence of polio by 99.9 percent. However, until we see the last of the poliovirus, eradication efforts need additional funding to: Immunize, Improve disease surveillance and Hire 150000 health workers.

Dr. Paddy Sharma, Assistant Governor Dist 6900, District Chair Polio Plus Committee, attended the club's meeting and congratulated all the members by giving them Polio Plus Society pins.
